Anyone sell the catback pipe without muffler?
I am looking for a 3" pipe like what comes in the cat backs, but I do not want to run a crossflow muffler.
Planning on a single 3" in and out.
Has anyone seen a place that sells just the pipe?
I thought maybe Hearthrob would, I got their pipes without mufflers for my truck, but I can't seem to find any place that lists them.
I guess I can buy a jegs kit, but I'll have a muffler and 2 tail pipes that I don't need, perhaps I could sell them.

I have a mandrel bent 2.75" mid pipe (stock L98 size) that I could ship you, I have used these w/ 3" mufflers by welding a piece of 3" OD pipe over the 2.75" OD section (fits pretty snug actually) then you can weld or clamp a muffler with 3" ID inlet over it. I'd ship you the pipe for the cost of shipping plus 20 bucks. Not quite as good as having a real 3" midpipe but the price is right and a 2.75 pipe on a mild 350 is alright.
Here is the exhaust the 2.75" mid pipe is off...I'll just cut it off at the muffler and ship it if you want

Talk to summit racing. They used to sell 3" intermediate pipes from dynomax and walker brands iirc.

The only dynomax pipe I could find was 2 3/4".
Checked jegs and summit before I posted the thread.

Ones I've seen that are truly "aftermarket" (Hooker or Blowmaster for example), any one piece of the system, cost 2/3 of what the system does; i.e. if they piece it out then what they REALLY do is sell you the system, but are simply "kind" enough to spare you the trouble of dealing with the "extra" parts you don't want, for you.
Dynomax and Walker are the same company, same part with different names; since it's essentially a stock configuration except for the diameter, should fit any cat and any muffler that are also stock, as long as the connections can be made.

one way to find the part: look up the different cat back kits on Summit... they usually show the instructions in pdf form.. the instructions usually have a parts list- you can get the individual part numbers from that instruction sheet and then look them up individually.
