Rusted manifold bolts and a torch

Have engine all apart for cam change. Figure ill do headers while in there too. Manifold bolts rusted in. What's best way to remove? Can you get a torch in there?? Bolts have been soaked with PB nut buster spray..

are you sure its not the metal tangs holding you up? from the factory they install the bolts, then bend 2 edges of a tang so that the bolt wont unloosen. sometimes theyre difficult to see. look real carefully. take a flat screwdriver and bend the tangs out. the bolts should unloosen then.

PB blaster , torch and a lot of patients is all you can do. Go easy a little at a time. If its not budging, don't crank it. They WILL snap if you aren't careful.

The snapping is what I'm affraid of. That's why I was asking about Torch.. Can't get to car right now. My cars portable shed still under 4 feet on Snow. Nothing new for New England..

If you don't mind the heat, fire it up and get it warm. Shut it off. That can help get them loose.
