bought a set of edelbrock headers and y pipe lightly used, came off of a 1985 z28 with the LG4 carbed 305, i have an 85 iroc with an 87 TPI 305, just making sure im correct and they will fit the heads right.. i thought there wasnt any difference but on teh paperwork i got with them it says "82-86 305 lg4 only" and i dont under stand what the difference could be.....

 

The emissions would be the only thing I could think of since yours is TPI. As far as bolting up, they'll fit fine.

 

ok well im not worreid about the emissions crap, my smog pump and all the plumbing is long gone and what was left of it today is.... well.... doesnt resemble what it was suposed to be anymore (currently removing original 305)

the Air tubes on the headers are already caped off by the P.O so im not gona worry about cutting em off and welding the holes up, they look great how there are,

ok just making sure they would bolt to the heads right, i didnt think there was a difference but the paperwork they came with threw me for a loop
