How in the heck?!?!?!?
Do you get a tool on the back exhaust bolts? I'm removing the driver side exhaust as I have an exhaust leak. Stock exhaust manifold and I get to the very back bolt, I can't get a socket on it or an open end wrench? There is simply no room. Anyone have any insight on this one? his is just a bummer man.

Depending on the exhaust. I took a taiwan made open end wrench and cut it in half. Short throw as all get out but it works with my old shorty headers. Should be able to get it in there without hitting it off the firewall.

You might want to take a flash light and look at the head of the bolt for (I'm not sure what there called)a washer that has a tab on it that is bent up onto the side of the bolt to keep it from backing out. You have to bend that sucker down before you can turn it.
Crows foot to a short extension to a wobbler to a long extension to a decent size ratchet. Worth a try if you have the tools.

Ok, thanks guys, I'll give it another go later this week and see if I can find the right combo. I don't think there is a tab washer on it, but again, I'll have a better look. I wonder if I might have better luck from under the car?

huh?, why aren't you doing from under there? You need to spray everything down with PB Blaster the night before too.

Basically I do not get under a car until it is the last resort. As I've grown older, I hate getting under a car...........

My first thought was the lock tab too. I'd say give it a go from underneath. I get the last passenger bolt from underneath on my longtubes, its so much easier. A little more room to get a bit more turn on the wrench that way.
