ears ringing

Well. Had a little get away vacation in my formula 350. Took my Bolt on Tuned port out on the open Highways over to Kansas City. ''Chiefs fan here; And I Forgot how loud my car is. It sounded great out there I enjoyed most of the 10 Hr drive. Even took her up to 120MPH on an empty highway. was avg 23 to 24 mpg. But boy when I arrived in kc my ears where ringing. Dyno dons non emissions header to duel Y pipe out to a gmmg chambered exhaust.

Well 10hours of the drone might be to much for this old fart.

Couldn't take it either—and my hearing is not what it once was, lol. Go Chiefs!

I run stock manifolds, high flow cat, and GMMG.....When I drove across the country with it, I wore foam ear plugs. 10-17 hr drives at 70-120 mph = too loud for too long.

Re: ears ringing

Lol. Back in the day I used to drive my 83 ta with headers, high flow cats and open 3" pipes from md to ri and back about 2x month... I loved it though I can't figure out how I could hear the radio with that combination going way too fast...
