Hedman question

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with Hedman 68470 on 305 86 Firebird, leakage or clearance issues?

I know from other threads many recommend Dyno Don or Hooker but for me to get those in Norway is just to expensive.

Thanks

Great headers. Good bang for thr buck.

You should have no problems.

For that price, you could get the full length headers.

Re: Hedman question

I used red hi-temp silicone on all my connections to the headers- at both sides of the (yes) paper gaskets, and at the y-pipe (aluminum) gaskets. I have had no leaks so far... I've found the header bolts slightly loose- but still no leaks or burning of the paper gaskets...

Re: Hedman question

what kind of gaskets did you use at the heads to headers? just curious cuz i used aluminum gaskets and sometimes i think i hear a leak, but i was told that headers just make a "chugging" sound. Its only at low RPMs though.

Link to said alum header gaskets?

All I can find are the crappy paper 1s.
