Hooker 2055 ceramic header break in

Planning on installing my new/never used 2055 header setup on my recently rebuilt 350.

It says on the instructions to NOT install the headers on a new engine, since they claim it may ruin the headers due to high temps

Questions

1- does it matter if the engine is rebuilt versus new?

2- if so, how much time should I run the rebuilt engine before installing the headers ?
