On the outlet of the y pipe, it's 2.5 out. Has anyone just cut it right at the end and welded 3 inch pipe to it? Is there enough room or do I need to cut the whole merge off and buy a 2.5 to 3 inch y pipe ? Thanks

 

I cut mine at the merge and a buddy mandrel bent a 3 inch pipe for it, It sits lower then it did of course and you can really see it from the side so I painted it black so its not as noticeable. overall it was an easy upgrade.
