87 with SLP hedders and sub frame connecters

I have a 87 with a 350 and short Slp hedders, with a 700 R4 trans. I want to install a set of Comp Engineering sub frame connecters. I have been going thru the threads and have seen alot of pics of installations with Y pipes that don't follow the original exhaust pipe path to the passenger side. My question is , is there a manufacturer of these Y pipes that take the exhaust along the side of the trans or are these all custom built. I can't run in the original location because of the sf connecter brace that runs from the rocker to the frame next to the trans. I am not running a cat.

Or you could get a set of Alston SFC's and not worry about exhaust clearance issues. I've ran 3 different exhausts systems on my car with the Alstons and never had to modify either of them for the SFC. I would like to think they are still around to purchase though.

How well do the Alstons work. what I like about the comp eng. sfc is they connect to 3 points. front and rear sub frame and they also bolt to floor next to rockers.
They are still avail, I found them on Jegs for $190.00

thanks

Ron

Alstons work very well. Solid! The doors would always slightly catch if I had the car jacked up in the front evenly(as in both front wheels). After the install I can jack up one front wheel and both doors open perfectly. Both front and rear frames are completely tied together and that is the most important, but these gave the best clearance for exhaust.
