Trying to install shorties

I've got a pair of used hedman shorties I bought from a forum member for my 350 with vortec heads. The problems I'm having are getting all of the bolts lined up, with both sides I can get 4 bolts threaded but then the other 2 will not go in as if the alignment is off somehow.

Re: Trying to install shorties

Start both end bolts, but leave them loose, just a few threads screwed in.
Then the center bolts again leave loose, then the rest of the bolts.. Shaking and wiggling the headers as you install each bolt.

Then go back and fully tighten all of them.

If you still have the same prob I would drill all the holes in headers out slightly. Maybe 1/32" larger and try that.
