Y pipe with 7 quart oil pan issue....
I have a 92 Camaro, was originally a 305....Tpi... Took it out and put in a 4 bolt main, 350 carbed.
While the engine was out and being built.... I said screw it let me put in a summit extended oil pain to hold 2 more quarts of oil, didn't seem like it would be a issue...
Unfortuently the Y pipe doesn't even come close to going around this thing.
My questions are...
1.) do they make a Y Pipe to accommodate this problem?
2.) should I bring it to a gauge and build a exhaust? ( don't feel like dropping $1000 bucks....)
3.) should I lift my engine up and take this pan out and out the factory back on? ( pain in the ***........ And I don't think I can do it because it has a extended oil pickup so I don't think there is enough space to wiggle it out anyways.
Suggestions?

Pull the pan. Put one that fits back on.
Posting on the Internet about "it's hard" "I don' wanna" won't help. The parts aren't listening.

Would something like that work? Then get a piece to go from that my piece to my flow master muffler? Any experience with these pipes?

I had the same issue with my build. The Edelbroc headers and y pipe wouldn't fit. I ended up running some Hooker shorty headers and custom head pipes past the trans. I've seen some builds with y pipes routed over to the stock cat location. Either way it's going to be custom. It really depends on what you want overall. In my case I needed a non-stock pan anyway to accommodate the 400 stroker crank and rods but with a 350 you are probably ok with the stock pan. bummer though.

The stock sbc oiling system works surprisingly well. (this isn't a mopar or ford clevland)
You could run a oil filter relocation with 2 large filters, increase capacity and keep the extra oil out of the pan.
You could get the correct pan for the car with around 6quart capacity.

Defaria, I think you're right about pulling the pan with the engine in the car. I just barely got my stock oil pan out with the engine in the car and had to loosen a motor mount if I remember correctly. I seriously doubt I could bet my Moroso oil pan out with the engine installed. I wouldn't even try. Your options are;
Pull engine and swap pans.
Replace cross pipe with custom.
Install different type header/manifold with different type exhaust.
Run open headers.
Honestly I would just make or have a different cross over pipe made. You may lose a little ground clearance but that's about your only option with the motor in place. You can always pull it later if that doesn't work out.
