Any recomedations for headers with Magnaflow Duel cats and Magnaflow catback?

I have a 1989 5.7 Iroc-Z. I am going to be installing a Magnaflow 23479 Duel Cat catalylic converter set up along with Magnaflow 16829 Stainless Steel Cat-back exhaust. Right now I am running factory manifolds but with the A.I.R. system removed. Where the tubes for the A.I.R. system were, I have them blocked off with bolts and sealed. My question is can anyone recommend a set of headers that would work well with this set up? Preferably with the least amount of fabrication and keeping the O2 sensor in place on the drivers side. Thanks

Since that Y pipe is made to bolt up to factory manifolds, you're basically looking for shorty headers that "bolt in" in place of the factory manifolds.

The nearest thing to that, as well as I have a hard time recommending anything besides Dyno Don's headers. They probably do not "bolt-in" to the Y pipe. But, I would expect minimal fab to either cut-and-weld that Y pipe to fit the headers, or have Don ship you the flange with a short section of down pipe (pre-bent) to adapt to that Y.

Question, did you already buy that Y-pipe and catback? If not, I'd change my plans and go with a single cat setup. If you have the catback and not the y-pipe you could go with Dyno Dons dual cat y-pipe.

Did you install this setup yet?

I have a dual cat car and I want to upgrade the exhaust but I am undecided on whether or not I should keep the factory dual cat setup and just adapt the 16829 kit so it bolts up to the factory y pipe or replace the ypipe assembly with the 23479 ypipe. Im even considering just using the single cat magnaflow ypipe setup. I will be doing this job on my back so the least amount of work I have to do, the better the job will go.
