Has anyone ever used Xlerator mufflers?

I was looking at their VX2583 muffler and piping system. Anyone with first hand experience?

I looked into them awhile back. They appear to be a Magnaflow Chinese knock-off. Pretty much the same characteristics at 1/2 the price. My local exhaust shop pushes them, but after comparing the cost of them making me a cat back with the the Xcelerator and SS tubing or just bolting up the Magnaflow sytem myself... it was a price wash. So I just went with Magnaflow.

Did you get the Magnaflow SS system and put it on? Do you like the sound for the price

Yes, I put it on myself along with the Hooker shorty headers and Y pipe.

My car had a Flowmaster on it previously. It sounded pretty mean with that but would drive me crazy at highway speeds. It just droned and drowned out all other noise which would get a bit annoying after awhile. The Magnaflow is not as loud but solved the droning problem. And it's stainless steel whereas the Flowmaster is not.

I really wanted to go with the Dynomax SS system, however they're on factory back order and I called the manufacturer and there's no call for production at this time. The Magnaflow was just out of my budget, so I went with the Exlerator SS muffler and aluminized pipe complete system cat back with new hangers and lap joint band clamps, all for $250 in stock through Summit. I'm going to paint all the pipes prior to install with VHT paint which I hope will help corrosion.

Well I went with Xlerator ss muffler and their 2.5" piping and ss lap joint band clamps which ran me $250 shipped. Since I wanted ss for the rust/corrosion protection factor but couldn't get in my time window, I decided to get the pipes ceramic coated which are costing me an extra $100-not too bad I think.
