What converters to buy just for emissions?

What converters to buy just for emissions?
I have true dual exhaust on the car and i need to put two catalytic converters on just to pass emissions, and then i'll be taking them off again. So is the nearest parts store the best alternative? Should i just buy the cheapest ones or do i need expensive ones in order to pass emissions? thanks.
