headers help
iv got a 1984 camaro that im going to put a 604 crate motor in it has d port heads, with a kick out oil pan, what headers would be my best choice? i would like to use long tubes 1 3/4 max. or 1 5/8 min.my car is not lowered. im going to keep the AC,power steering, alternator. the car is for the street and maybe a couple of times at the drag strip

How much are you wanting to spend? Though I'm not sure if big block headers for a Thirdgen are still available, the port spacing between big blocks and LS is said to be very close. You may look I to the cost of long tube 1.75 LS headers and just have a shop modify them.

Best fitting for small block would be the hooker long tubes. The fit is fantastic but they aren't great for lowered cars
