89 firebird formula. The issue I am having is the down pipes and cat's hang very low to the ground and can be seen on the side of the car. Is this normal for this year? It has dual cat's. I never had an issue until I installed the GCWJ and now exhaust hits speed humps. I understand lowering the car has nothing to do with the exhaust, but it is now something i'm noticing.

What exhaust is on it? Stock?. I have seen some systems hang lower than they could. Might require some cut and reweld to tuck up

 

To my knowledge the down pipes leading to the cats are factory, still have the factory manifolds with the smog pump lines.

 

How old are your motor mounts? Old mounts will let the engine sag down alot.
