Would this thrush muffler work on a third gen?
Saw this online, would it work for my third gen Firebird? Would it be louder than stock? Thanks! https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

Is your muffler rotting off? Falling off? Missing? If so, buy this.
If you just want more noise, buy a 3" cat-back and get some extra performance out of it.

my muffler is huge and very quiet. I actually found a place that will bend custom exhausts so what I’m going to do is bring my stock catback in there and ask them to mandrel bend a copy of it so I can just bolt that into place. Much cheaper than buying a premade catback

be careful, if it's being eyeballed it may thump, bump or rattle. the exhaust systems on these cars are weird fitting, and - if being eyeballed - best be done on the car.

no kidding!! The previous owners put a new (stock) catback on and when it cold starts especially it rattles and bumps the emergency brake cable. It also likes doing it in reverse when backing up, when I first bought the car I heard it when I was leaving the driveway it had me scared lol. Maybe I’d better just take the car in then
