Flowmaster Cat Back ??
I have a TPI 350 and am planning on purchasing a set of 1 3/4" SLP Headers w/o the air pipes. I am not running cats and don't plan on it (no Sniffer testing here in So FLa) I also plan on buying a flowmaster cat back system, I have been looking at the Amercian Thunder or the Force II setups. I will be running a pair of cutouts for the track.I plan on locating them where the cat used to be seeing as the heat shielding is already there. Is there a noticable performance difference between the two is one better than the other or is the only difference the sound levels??
Any other tips and tricks on exhaust would help, any probs that i might run into that you guys have found already, would be greatly appriciated
Again,
Tuned Port 350 Serptine Belt
Duel Cats
1 3/4 " SLP Headers W/O Air
3" Race Readies cut outs
3" Flowmaster Cat Back
American Thunder or Force II?????
Thanks for the info

The american thunder is louder (as I understand it), but hte force to has more of a subdued tone when yer not on the throttle (again, thats how I interpretted what they said on their web site)

I just got the 3" primary pipe and an 80series muffler from my exhaust shop. then I have them bend some 2.5" off of the muffler with 4" tips. you can see em here
as far as power goes, I was told that the 80 series muffler is a tad better than the force2 or american thunder. I don't know if this is true or not. but I am satisfied with mine, so it doesn't really matter to me :-) also the pipe installed pretty easy, just had to dent in some of the heat shields over teh rear end.
