Hedman Headers(hassel?)

I just bought and received headman headers with the y-pipe for camaros. The headers have no A.I.R. tubes or Oxygen sensor inputs at all, its just tubing. Item nubmer for the headers is 500-68470 and item number for the y-pipe is 500-17470 I was wondering if I am going to have to weld the A.I.R. Tubes on or something and an input for the Oxygen sensor. If so, is there anyone who has put these two items on their car and successfully acomplished it? By not having the A.I.R. and Oxygen sensor hooked up will that affect the car or emmissions? Need help, thanks.

If you need the emission-legal headers, with the air tubes and oxygen sensor bung, Hedman makes them. Just exchange the ones you have now for them; they should be the same price. It would be a lot easier than welding your headers.

yeah, I hads those on my 91. I didnt want the AIR crap, etc. You do need to buy an O2 sensor bung and weld it in. If you want AIR, dont bother modifying your hedders, just send them back and get the right ones!

You need part # 500-68481 (Jeg's). This comes with the y-pipe and reatils for $310. So send back your y-pie and headers to exchange for these. I'm going with the ones you bought without the emmisions nonsence. I'm not sure why the emmisions version is that much more expencive than the others...

Yea part #68481 is the emissions legal stuff. I had to remove the AIR tubes and plug the O2 on mine. I should have got the ones you got.

Who has the emissions legal ones and how much are they? Also, anyone in VA having trouble with getting their cars inspected without the emissions stuff? My car will eventually have to be registered in VA when I retire from the Army in a couple of years.
