I am running open headers on a 305. I just bought it so I don’t know exactly what headers but they’re 2.5 inches. He gave me a bunch of exhaust stuff that didn’t fit right and I just want to get something that I don’t have to mess with for a week. I want dual exhaust with a mean sound.
I seen an old thread someone had a ‘91 or ‘92 with this kit. It sounds the closest to what I want but will it fit? If not what should I get ?

I adapted the Blackheart Exhaust system to my 406 SBC quite easily even though it was made for an LS swap. I have Hawks StSt headers.

ANY & ALL 3rd gen exhausts fit ALL 3rd gens cars.
You can use WHATEVER cat-back you want.
Just use a cat that has the fitting on the headers you have, and the fitting that fits your cat-back of choice; or, use adapters to get there.
I have the Hooker cat-back on my 83 L69 car, with a generic 4-bolt in-out cat (Catco maybe?) and SLP headers. Needed adapters at the cat to get from 3" to the oval 4-bolt pattern on L69 and early LB9 systems, and from that to the 3" Hooker I-pipe. I kinda wish sometimes I hadn't messed with all that and just went with 3" slip-fit or something, but it's too late now.
