I have to say, I ordered a set of headers from don 3 years ago and they are great. They have more clearance than any other header I've seen in these cars. They're extremely well laid out. They fit my d port fast burn heads perfectly. No issues w spark plugs. No issues w access to header bolts. The y pipe had plenty of ground clearance. They cleared the mechanical clutch linkage on my 82. Then I swapped to a t56 and used a quick time bell there was no issues. The ceramic coating has held up well. I really couldn't be anymore pleased. Anyone on the fence, go for it.

Don, is the single cat y pipe listed on Topdownsolutions for the SLP headers what is needed to connect up to your headers or is it something different?

 

There are three on there
SLP, Edelbrock and mine for my headers.
Choose the one for Dyno Don headers.

 

I am only seeing the dyno don y pipe for dual cat and the single cat y pipe for g body. I need the single cat y pipe for f body camaro. Did they miss posting that one?

 

I understand it may not be possible to give a definite answer, but what kind of estimated build/delivery would be expected if we are able to get in on this group purchase?

I'm looking forward to installing these my friend I both ordered a set. I currently have the Hedman set and they are very restrictive and get very close to the oil pan. Is anybody planning on using the exhaust setups from Hawks to go with these?

OK, it's official. Our first Group Purchase for Dyno Don headers is officially sold out. Y-pipes, I-pipes and various miscellaneous items are still available. I have once again shut off the Dyno Don headers on my website. If there is interest in future in running another Group Purchase of headers contact Don or myself to get put on the list. For what it counts, I'm planning on pairing my Dyno Don headers + y pipe with the 3" Magnaflow catback. I haven't found too many pictures of the Hawks setup installed with the Dyno Don setup.

 

Headers for the GP are done. Y-pipes are being assembled to jigs and tach welded. Should be shipping orders very soon.
