You don't need any belt. The AIR pump belt on a 1984 model is independent from all the other accessories...

Is your engine the L-69 H.O.? That's what that photo is...
Re: Smog delete
Hey T.L got a quick question for you,
I'm currently having my 87 Formula 350 (L-98) rebuilt and was looking to delete the smog stuff off of it. Was wondering if you had any words of wisdom for me since this is my first time doing it. By pulling the smog pump and the cat will my car throw a code? I got different header pipes for it as I dont have a welder (and I want to keep the original parts to bring it back to original if needed). Also is there any potential draw backs to doing this? I've been doing research on and off here for a bit and I'm getting conflicting answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With that said, any increase in performance will be minimal, and your exhaust will stink...
