I'm not going to dig any tips on the back of a thirdgen. To me the rear doesn't really lend itself to making anything visible look good. That said, these aren't bad but the three per side looks read odd, if it were two per side...maybe.
It's your car so you're the only person that counts but... Some cars have cutouts in the bumper for exhaust so changing the tips looks good, others like third gens don't and just look odd, That to me looks way over the top. I have a 4" single on mine and went so far as to put a down turn on it and tuck it up high so no one could see it.
I think we are all grown-ups and can handle the truth so lets be honest; we all know what "its your car, you do what you like" really means, thanks to sofa for stepping up to the plate!

Re: Opinion on these massive tips?
Those tips are uglier than sin. They might even be uglier than the tips on the Magnaflow catback exhaust system. I ain't much a fan of that hood either but it does look way nicer than some of the other uglier than sin hoods I've seen on a 3rd gen Firebird.

I don't like the hood either. I was going to say something earlier but tried to remain "PC".
A clean GTA doesn't need that kind of gobbledy-gook to look stunning. The car already looks stunning, stock. Gee-Gaw's hurt the look....not help it.

Re: Opinion on these massive tips?
Of the aftermarket hoods the RA1 is one of my favorites. I also like that IMSA hood.
My favorite hood for a Firebird/Trans Am/GTA is the base model plain jane smooth hood. I just love the clean lines of the base model hood. My least favorite hood of the factory hoods is the Firebird S/E and Trans Am/GTA style hood. I don't like the vents in the front center of those hoods because the slats on a lot of them become uneven and warped and I don't like how those vents break up the smooth lines of the hood. I do like the vents at the rear sides of the hood close to the top of the fenders. I like the early Trans Am/Formula hood with the offset power bulge but don't like how it interrupts my sightline over the hood while in the driver's seat with it adjusted to my liking. If I was 6'2" instead of 5'10" it might not bother me as much though but I like my seating position more laid back than upright than a lot of people I know.
I avoided mentioning that hood, butt... since it's been brought up...
It looks entirely STUUUUPID ENOUGH on the cars that it was made for, which already have enough flabby-looking bulges and bloat in odd places, that it kind of blends in on those. Kinda looks to me like the sort of thing that would adorn a Hot-Rod Monster Truck & Tractor Pull participant. Designed to appeal to 8-yr-old boys that haven't developed a decent sense of taste yet.
Butt on one of THESE cars, and ABOVE ALL a Firebird with their sleek flat cut-the-wind lines, it ... just ... I imagine that the space aliens were taking a break one night from their usual pranks of creating crop circles, Elvis sightings, "one of a kind" mass-products rolling off of the production line equipped with "features from the future", making high-flow water pumps less effective at cooling than lower-flow ones, and all those other things they do for their own amusement, and they let drop a piece of their flying saucer right onto the front of that poor car. Besides just being UTT BUCKING FUGLY all on its own, it looks so completely FOREIGN and OUT OF PLACE on that car that the most likely explanation for it (besides being owned by an 8-yr-old boy that hasn't developed a decent sense of taste yet) is that it was planted by a being not of this species. Every time I see one of those things, I can't decide whether to laugh or to HURL.
Butt hay, it's his/her car, and her/his money; s/he can do whatever they want to with it, without any regard for my taste (or for any other taste). Doesn't mean I'm automatically obligated somehow to like it or applaud them for it or even refrain from letting my opinion be known about it.

Gonna agree with sofa on both the exhaust tips and the hood. The tips look like they're from the autozone dress-up isle. I do like those hoods on the fourth gen ws6 trans ams but they don't suit the lines of a thirdgen well at all. These cars are subtle and sleek door wedges and the body lines are too smooth and straight for a bulging and round hood. My cowl hood even makes me feel weird sometimes. Always felt like the GTA's have a classy black suit at a funeral look that doesn't lend well to exterior modifications, similar to the grand national.

Reason: changed a popular Chinese food name to "dress up" because I didn't know it was a banned word lol
