What are these?
Hey all, I just had a question about these pipes coming off of exhaust manifolds. Never found out what they do, i dont have them on my manifolds and it always keeps me wondering

remove the pipes & keep them + recirc pump. Another buyer of your car in a state that requires all the pollution factory installed equipment be present. plug the holes

The air injection tubes are part of the emission control system . The air pump was belt driven along with all of the other belt driven accessories {alternator power steering ,ect.} , The air pump could force air through the manifolds , the catalytic converter or both to reduce emissions
