header torque

header torque

ok.. anyone know the proper bolt down and torque for headers bolting to aluminum heads with stainless bolts?

instructions don't state torque or proper patter for torquing down..

someone must know what to torque the bolts at and what sequence? center out ? also which end does the donut fit into the header?

To tell you the truth I just got them as tight as I could with an open end wrench, there's no way in hell Im fitting a torque wrench in there. Never had any leaks. I doubt sequence matters. If you feel that it does, start on the inside and alternate moving outward.
