Tri-Y's

I have heard that tri-y's are better for the street than regular 'tube headers'. Anyone know anything about Tri-Y's?

Yeah, they kick butt. They were offered by SLP way back when the firehawk was being made. They were a factory upgrade for $1000.

Doug Thorley still makes some for a couple vehicles. They are supposed to make more torque than a 4 to 1 header.

Well, i have found very few people that make tri'y's still. There are the ones in Summit(Flow Tech), the company metioned in a above post, and http://www.stans-headers.com/headers.htm .
Now, another question of mine (yeah, i tend to have a good reserve of those..) is would headers designed fer a non f-body be difficult to install in an f-body? Like maybe s-10 headers (for v8 drop in, i dunno...)? Well, if any one has any leads on tri-y's please lemme know! :lala:
