whats the easiest way to relocate the a/c compressor bracket for header installation on an 83 lg4 bird?

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Cut off the leg that goes to the back manifold bolt and let the front one support the bracket.
