I am in the middle of taking out my motor and I was going to take out my exhaust to get it fixed and jet coated. but I have a problem the front section wont let go of the rear section. Its just a slipper over fitting with an exhaust hanger keeping them together. took the exhaust hanger off and tugged for some time with no avail. Now here is the question if I heat the exhaust up with a heat gun will it come apart(torch is out of the question cause I dont own one and the garage is carpeted. If you guys could help that would be great. thanks
