dynomax makes some that are a pretty direct fit. the AIR tubes are all lined up right. I had Hedmans on the 87, edelbrock TES are supposed to fit nicely too.

1) There's no such thing as a bolt-in (okay, that's what they say about engine swaps, but applies to many other aftermarket setups as well).
2) You don't want a direct bolt-on setup. The TBI cat is restrictive, so go for a TPI single-cat, get the direct-fit cat and cat-back for that application as well.

Gives you room for growth. The "My Generation Camaro" guys made the same mistake. Learn from the mistakes of others, save yourself some grief down the road.

*Especially* headers. If there's someone here who didn't have to modify or jack with a single thing installing their headers, then they're not posting about it. But as it were, SLP, Edelbrock, Hooker, Hedman, and Dynomax all make thirdgen-specific headers. There's a few lesser known brands as well, but the ones I mentioned are the most popular here.

Five7Kids.... What do you mean by TBI cat are restrictive and go with the TPI? What's the difference....

And what do you guys suggest for exhaust set up for my 91 Camaro V8 TBI VIN=E 5.0.

Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

This is the set-up that I have on my RS, I highly recommend it. There are others on this board w/ pretty much the same set-up as I do.
Headers - SLP 1 5/8
Cat - CATCO cat w/ 3"inlet/outlet
Cat-Back - Flowmaster American Thunder w/ 80 series muffler & dual 3" outlets

The LO3 cat is a teeny 2-1/4". That's smaller than one downpipe from the headers. You can get headers with a y-pipe that will bolt to your stock cat, but you'll really be killing the gains possible by putting on headers if you do.

The TPI-like 3" setup is the way to go.

I put a TPI 3'' cat-back on mine for $160 thru JCWhitney. It's a Dynomax system. I am very pleased with it. Although it's not as loud as the Flowmaster, but just as good. Nice deep throaty sound. I am getting the TPI headers this summer. It's more a matter of choice of what kind of system you want. Sound quality is the only difference in cat backs anymore.
