Stock Y-Pipe robs power?

I have shorty headers (single cat set-up) with no cat and 3" pipe running in to a Super turbo muffler on the back with dual outlets.

The system is pretty good but I fear that Y-pipe may be strangling it slightly.

Would I notice the difference if I went after market?

Thanks

You will definitely feel a difference when you replace the y-pipe but, since you have the shorty headers you'll have to have a custom y-pipe made unless the manufacturer of your headers makes a y-pipe.
