What Headers to Buy???

I'm getting some income tax money back and thought i would buy an exhuast system... now all i have is around 600 bucks... im getting the Cat-Back which is 330 out of summit and then a Muff. O i dont know yet... Im not worried about emissions at all... but i dont know what headers there are that are reasonable and will just hook right up to stock everything... is there any just for third gen's? and what are they? plus any idea's for exhuast on a 305 LG4? my car is a 87 TA

That leaves you with $270. I don't think you have many choices. The Edelbrock TES come with y-pipe for $313. The main difference is the size of the y-pipe where it meets the cat. You'll want a 3" one for best performance. I'm not sure how much Hooker headers would be, but I hear they're good.

They don't come with a y-pipe. I believe JC Whitney sells y-pipes, I'm not sure of the size though.

You can get info online from the various manufactures web sites. Get the part # from the site, go to Summit's site (or I suppose Jeg's, etc) and look up the price. They offer a lot of stuff thats not in the printed catalogs.
