I just put some SLP 1 3/4" headers on my Camaro. It has a 406 in it, block and heads are out of a 74 Laguna S3. When I had the motor built, the guy who rebuilt it was nice enough to rebuild my starter, as well, so I still have the ORIGINAL one that came on that motor. The thing is, on the Camaro, the SLP headers hit my big old honkin' 1974 starter. I still have the original flexplate, so what starter should I use??? I REALLY do not want to spend a lot of money here.
