Im moving my muffler support, any ideas?

Hey guys,
If u have worked on your exhaust, you probably know that on our thirdgens there are two hangers that are really not all that good. I replaced the left one(when looking from the back) and the right one, I want a new bracket that is moved over a little bit to give me more room with the muffler. I took off the old one to try and flip it around and reinstall the bracket backwards, but the cat won't let it bend over a few inches. What I am wondering is, can I go to pep boys and buy a bracket *not the clamps* that supports the right rear muffler assembly? I need a different one. I can't raise my pipes if i don't have this. I know u are confused, please help!

BYE GUYS!

You could buy some supports but they probably would be that good. If you have a welder, you could weld some brackets w/rubber mounts on them and they'll be much better. This is what I did with mine. The stock locations suck and design was really cheap. Sorry but I don't have any pics yet.
