Hey Paul....One of my converters was totally blocked, I think thats part of the reason why my car only made 306 rwh. Should have some new numbers within the next few weeks.

Very good to hear! And I can only imagine what kind of power you will make without having half the engine choked off!!!
Also, what plugs are you using Mike? I am running the A/C FR3LS ones in mine and they are pretty damn short so I don't forsee a problem when I get my SLP 1 3/4s.....
Thanks,
Matt

My dad has an 88 IROC in his shop right now with Trick Flow heads and SLP 1 3/4" headers. Spark plug wires and access is just fine.

Ive swapped a few motors over the years, but ive never had so many stupid little problems as ive had with this buildup. The cats melted when I first installed the engine, it was running really rich. I replaced the muffler because of all the junk in there. The exhuast has been blocked from the begining, in one way or another, I hope i didnt burn the valves. I think this has something to do with the detonation problems ive been having.
Matt....I tried to send you an email yesterday but got side tracked. I will have to check but IM pretty sure IM using the exact same plugs as you are. The only one that was kinda close was the number 8 plug. I have the ones with no airtubes, I can finally run my plug wires over the valve covers and straight down to the plugs. The passenger side wires were always a pain on the TES, and one of the passenger tubes ran right next to my AC box building alot of heat there. I did have some problems with the steering shaft making contact with the driverside header tube. Just barely though i just loosed the two bolts that hold the shaft to the firewall, pried it over. A swift blow with a big hammer would have worked as well the contact was minor.
