Hooker Cat Back fit?

I have been looking for a new cat back for a while now, and i'm leaning toward the Hooker cat back. Before I order it though, i want to make sure that it will fit my car. It is an 89 Firebird Formula, 350, 5.7L TPI. The vin number is: 1G2FS2183KL245272. When I looked on the hooker website, it said that the cat back would fit 86-92 305 HO TPI if the 8th digit in your vin was a G, F, or 8. Mine is an 8, so would it work with my car. And does it work with a 350? I'm also not sure if my car is dual cat or not, but if it was, is there anything a muffler shop can do to make it work? Thanks a lot!

Yes, the Hooker cat back will fit your car. I just put mine on the other day, and so far I love it! I doubt your car is a dual cat set up... just look under the passenger side door, towards the front of your car, and see if there is one or two cats.

The part # for the cat back from Jegs is: 520-16823
The price is: $259.99

Good luck!

Not all l98 cars in 89-up were dual cats. Take my buddys 89 GTA for example... Factory single cat.
