Would this exhaust be too loud?
I want a put a single 3.5in exhaust with a hooker muffler, headers, and no cats on my 383 stroker. Do you think this would be too loud? I like the way the Hooker catback sounds but I want it to flow more because I am going to put an LT1 intake on and maybe a Procharger. My dad has a 2000 Chevy Silverado Z71 with a 4.8L V8 and a 5spd, and he has a 3.5in exhaust with a Hooker muffler and it sounds AWSOME. Would my car sound similar to the Z71 or totally different because I have a 383 and he has a 292?
Thanks
Thanks
i highly doubt your dads truck would sound like the camaro with that setup. They will both have the V-8 rumble, but it would be a different style. All cars and trucks sound different due to mufflers, the piping involved...as for the loudness...your going to have to find out for yourself.

Yeah it might sound different but call me ******* I think there is no such thing as a Camaro that is to loud. Guess that attitude comes from going to the drag strip at LEAST once a week.
