price estimate...
ok, i went to meineke to get an estimate on installing my new aerochamber muffler. here's what they gave me
Intermediate pipe (2 1/2in): 134.95
2 (2 1/4in) tailpipes: 43.90
labor: 75.00
The total with "disposal fees" and "shop supplies came to 276.64. What do you think? I don't have a lift, and i really want everything welded up tight, so i can't try and do it myself. i plan on shopping around, but is this more than likely a ballpark figure i'm gonna get from most places?
I REALLY WANT MY HOOKER MUFFLER ON!!!!

Shop around...for that price you can get mandrel bent 3" pieces. I KNOW Meineke doesn't sell that.

See if you can find a more performance oriented muffler shop that does that kind of thing more often...like a G & S Muffler or something of that nature. That is way too expensive for a little welding and some pipes.
