What is the output diameter on the OEM cat for a 91 Formula 350?

I read somplace online that the OEM cat for a 1991 Firebird Formula 350 has a 3" output. However, this contradicts a bit with other information I have read. I've searched old posts but couldn't find an answer. Does anybody definitively know if it is a 2.5" or a 3"?
