I bought the Edelbrock cat back for my single cat 305 TPI, because it's the only system with stock looking tailpipes. Can an exhaust shop make it work with a factory dual cat setup? I havn't ordered the dual cat Y-pipe yet, and i havn't installed the cat back system. I'm thinking the best way to do it is for me to put the new Y-pipe on, and drive it to the exhaust shop and have them install the cat-back system. Is the flange the same? If it is, they can probably cut the intermediate pipe just after the flange, bolt that piece to the Y-pipe, and weld a piece in to make it connect. I just don't want them to a] F%k my car up b] charge me a rediculous amount c] try to do it and get stuck, or d] all of the above. Can anyone give me some advice?

Just so you know, I have Dynomax with the stock exhaust turndowns, I've seen Flowmasters with them and I think hooker has tailpipes that turn down. I cut em' off cause I didn't like em and welded tips straight back from where the turndowns begin.
