Hooker Max-Flow or Areochamber Mufflers

Has anyone got Hooker Max-Flow or Aerochambers on their car. I'm thniking about buying them for my 76 Formula w/ 400 motor I want to know how you would think they would sound. Are they a loud muffler? Any sound files would be helpful.

Thanks,
Robert

I just replaced my flowmaster with an aerochamber because the flowmaster resonated too much for me, and I'm liking it. It's not loud on my car but noise depends alot on the engine/car.

I also picked up a noticeable amount of power over the flowmaster 2-chamber too. I'd reccomend it.

TADA, HERE I AM

I haven't heard the max flow, but the aero sounds good, there's a sound clip in my signature.

Someone do me a favor email Hooker with all my posts so I can get an endorsement deal.

aerochamber. Maxflows are like borla, magnaflow, and SLP. They are straight through. My friend got one on his truck. He had cut his muffler off and it was too loud. Then he got the maxflow. That straight through maxflow muffler was pretty much the same straight through sound, but a little quieter and more mello. They are a great deal over the expensive stainless borla, and SLP mufflers.

How quiet is quiet? Is it quiet like a Dynomax Ultraflo or a Flowmaster 80 series? What do you think will be louder behind a 400ci engine?

if straight pipe is 100% volume, those max flows are like 85%-90% volume.
