Hooker Competition Long Tubes? Not SC

Does anybody know the part number for Hooker Competion (not Super Competition) headers that fit our 3rd gens?

The only Competition Hooker header I can find are shorties.

Thank you

Some hooker competition headers are long tubes, but not for thirdgens. If you want hooker long tubes you have to go with super comps.

But I hear that the Hedman Long Tube headers don't fit very easily...ie hitting the floorboards and such...

I don't have the cash to shell out for a set of hooker sc's and a custom exhaust system....

I can afford to hook up a less expensive set of headers though, and I'd like long tubes!

Any long tube header will need custom bent exhaust. Most of the shortie setups come with a y-pipe that connects to your converter at the stock location. Thats why they cost $300 & up.

I know that any long tube will require a custom exhaust, but the cost of the Super Competition headers is pretty expensive, at least at the moment for me!

Actually the Hedman shorties and Y pipe is only just over $200.00 out the door!

One of the main differences between the headmans and hookers is that the hookers have 1 3/4 primaries where the hedmans have 1 5/8. If you get something like the slps they should flow at least as good as the headmans long tubes, and they come with a y pipe.

The SLP's price me out at the very moment. Sucks being poor!

I would think that since you will be able to attach it to your existing exhaust for now until you can get a catback or whatever it wouldnt be that much more. How much do you figure on for custom exhaust.

I'm not sure how much a custom exhaust is going to cost me.....I guess I should get off my big butt and call huh?

I just figure that it will be rather costly!
