Headers, hi flow cat, and Cat back for a 92 Z28 305

Headers, hi flow cat, and Cat back for a 92 Z28 305

I have a 92 z28 305 single cat and i want to put headers, hi flow cat, and a catback exhaust on. WHat are the best headers to put on?edelbrock? and what has the best deep, nice idle but a loud accleration for a cat back? which one sounds better hooker, or american thunder edelbrock? and who maker s a good hi flow cat? THANKS A LOT!

Best headers are made by SLP, as far as cat-back listen to sound clips and decide for yourself, mine's in my signature, plus I have a non hi-flo cat. Get a Catco cat.

SLP uses the best material, but I don't like the fact that the collectors are 2.25". A little small for me, but on a stock 305 like what you are asking, they would be better than the iron on there now.

SLP headers are very expensive and not worth the money, if you want great headers for a cheaper price look into the Hooker Super Comp Shortie headers, they include a y-pipe and are emissions legal. Dynomax makes okay headers as well, they are extremely inexpensive too.

They are if you want to squeeze out every last bit of HP, but if you're just building a mild HP engine, I wouldn't pay that much for them.
