wut to do withmy headers

hey guys i am building a 350 for my 89 formula and i am takinout my 305 tbi. well i have the edelbrock headers for that engine and i know they will bolt up and all but i am goin to carburation so i won't have any A.I.R. so wut do i do with the pipes on top of the headers? can i cut them off and sumhow fill the hole with somethig? or can i just leave them and cap the hole? also would leaving them kill any performance? thanks

Mine are capped right now (will find new check valves and hook it all up when it's due for emissions testing Nov '03).

A couple of options beyond that are: Cut small tubes off flush, braze holes shut; cut small tubes off about an inch long, fold and crimp them over.

No performance issues.

I capped mine with JB Weld, I'm thinking of cutting off the pipes that run horizontally and capping them, that way gives me extra clearance for spark plugs.
