Hey everyone, i'm new here, my names Jesse and I just wanted to ask a couple of questions.
Im getting headers, and 3inch custom exhaust put on (cat and everything) and i was wondering what kind of difference I should see in HP and torque. Also, is there anything else that needs to be changed after putting headers and exhaust on? any sensors, etc?
and one more question, I have a 92RS 305tbi with k&N airfilter, and 3.73 posi rearend. With the exhaust and headers, what do you think my 0-60 and 1/4 mile times will be??

A good estimate for those mods would be about 15hp for headers and 10hp for the cat-back.
You'll definately notice a difference, and besides without a free flowing exhaust any other mod won't meet its full potential.

 

I would add an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. That should add another 10 or 15. I think they are a must if you are going to run headers.

You can get an AFPR for as little as $60 or you can make it yourself, which I recommend. It's a lot cheaper. I'm not really sure what your times would be. What are you running now. As far as HP, you should get about 30-35 at the wheels(40 if your lucky). It will be like driving a new car. I would also recommend underdrive pulleys. I gained 10 RWHP with the pulleys.
