Just bought a '92 RS T-Top part's car
My son tore the right side of his '91 RS up. I found a T-top '92 V8 (no motor or tranny) to get the door and fender off of. I plan to take the power door locks out and install on his car, and maybe the power windows and hatch release. My son;s car was all manual.
The rest I'll part out or trash. If you need anything let me know.
The console is trashed but the rest of the (blue/gray) interior seems to be all there and OK other than dirty.
I have 3 (appear to be good) '91-'92 Z-28/RS wheels .
The dash has one small bad spot in it and one of the strips at the speaker is broken but not missing, I figure I'll end up trashing this.
The rear hatch is good, it has defroster if anyone needs one.
T-top weather strip appears good, left t-top is broken, right is seems OK.
Front suspension, gear box seems OK, the axle was broken off at the left brake backing plate. He must have hit a culvert or something to snap an axle like that.
I have a Z28 hood with several small dents that can easily be repaired, the louvers (not blisters) have some studs missing. This did not come off of the parts car.

And the final two.
As you can see in one photo there is a small split on the right side where the top and side strips are joined. This should be able to be filled with some black RTV and allowed to set up. I can fill it if you like and that would give it plenty of time to set up.
The front corners where the T-tops go into on the center bar are chaffed a little. I guess this is normal for a '92 model car.

Would you be able to get me the cable for the airbag that runs from the bottom of the steering column to the airbag (including the circular coil thing)? I broke the coil piece trying to get it out.

Are you talking about the black center piece between the glass, or the whole bar?
If just the black center piece, what's involved in removing it?
If it's the whole bar I can cut it out however you want it.
Make ma an offer!

It's just the center piece with the t that the tops slide under and it includes the pieces on each side with 3 screws in each. It looks like 3 seperate pieces, but is tack welded.
You need to remove the 3 screws on each side, then under the weatherstripping on each side there are 2 screws. After all 10 screws are removed, preferably on a hot day or using a hair dryer to heat it up, slide a putty knife under the rear and apply pressure upward, allowing for the glue to loosen.
I'll pay $30 shipped to 49067

If I can get it out. It's yours. I'm going out to check now.

I can try to take a few pics for clarity if you like. Not sure if they'll show up though.

If you could, pics would be good. Please send them to joshua_shaw@yahoo.com. I'm sure I'm still interested though. Thanks.
