Rust free and available. Clear coat has peeled on it, otherwise good shape.

Re: 1987 Formula part out

Too many people parting out good cars.

This is why we'll have very few on the road in 10 years.

not originally a t-top car, and not executed well. Was going to sell as complete car, but decided to part out after finding the roof swap.
The car is still complete and if someone want it, it is available complete. But it does have previously repaired damage in the rear, front passenger side damage and the t-top swap.
If someone wants to pay $2400 for it all, it is available. Someone cared for it as some point of time, but somewhere down the line things did not go so well for it.

Ouch @ the t-top 'conversion'. I guess it's fate was decided before it even got to you. If freighting the rear end wasn't so expensive I'd snag it off you.

I can see both sides of that statement

As a 3rd gen enthusiast, I would like to see more of these cars on the road

As a 3rd gen enthusiast who is trying to maintain and restore the 3rd gens I currently have, parts are good. Especially when there are none in the aftermarket.

Headlights and motors work. Passenger side bracket that headlight is held on to has been repaired, but headlight/motor are fine. Seatbelts latch piece missing a plastic surround.

I will let you know if one of the above guys does not want both light assemblies.
some more pictures:
drivers door has a dent
Both pcv valves were bad, I had one new on the shelf, but other one just disconnected for now. PO cut the ac belt off because it robbed too much power. I will probably get a new one and verify ac works.

You have pictures of the tire sizes, but I didn't see any good pics of the wheels.
What kind are they and how wide are they?

17x9 is a reasonable size. Any idea what the offset is?

4.25" backspacing

center console top shifter plate and the lid were damaged, but the actual console is intact.

The backspacing isn't quite enough for me.
Is that a new ECM?
What are you asking for the ECM and TPI engine harness?

Re: 1987 Formula part out

It is a new 90-92 tpi ecm and new painless 90-92 engine harness. Asking $350 for both.
Or $300 for the harness and $120 for the ecm. Also have 86-89 reman ecm for $80

Do you ever come into Houston? I might be headed that way this weekend. Can you send me pictures of the spoiler damage?

Will be in houston this afternoon and then again sometime in mid june. Maybe in between, but not sure yet.
are you referring to the rear spoiler?
You can see in the following picture it is bowed because that mounting tab has ripped through the bottom. With some heat and plastic epoxy it could be put all back together. I can get better pictures this evening.
