it might be cheaper to rebuild your current ones. then you'll know that they're rebuilt and won't fail for a good while if ever again since new gears and bushings are made of better materials.

It would mean another 40 mile round trip, but maybe we can work something out.

What years will work ??

I've got left and right side headlight motors from an 86.

I plugged the lights into a running car about 2 weeks ago and both headlights popped up - and - went back down quick and easy. Good working used parts, with uncut plugs & a partial harness.

Let me know if they will work and include an offer for the pair if your interested.

PS..... Price of gas ! The largest oil pipe line in the US quit pumping oil today, you boys on the west coast better fill your tanks in the morning !!!!

I think 82-84 parts were specific for 82-84 only, I could be wrong though

I'm not sure of all the specifics. but I have an 89 and I used to have a 91 and the motors were the same. but now that I have an 84 too I've noticed that the motor is different. they look the same at first glance but the motor housing is shorter and a bit wider. so I'm assuming that the internals are as well differnt. I havn't had to overhaul my 84's motors though, so I'm not sure.

I still have that pair of 3(plug) wire motors. Excellent condition. $75 shipped. Also still waiting on that MO for the Carb bracket?
