wanted: 82-84 trans am, 87-92 formula O.E.M hood and wrap around spoiler in PA/NJ

im looking for a 82-84 trans am, 87-92 formula style hood, the one with the "power bulge". colour doesn't matter. preferably located in the eastern PA (philly etc.) or jersey area.

im also looking for the wrap around spoiler. this is all for my 305 88 formula.

these would be greatly appreciated!

hood

the hood has fairly fresh paint and is from a VA car that was well taken care of.all the insulation is still in good shape and there are no dents, just a small paint chip on the plastic vent. the latch was even greased at every oil change. the guy that owned the car befor me spent money on it like it was his job. i stored the car away in the winter for the year and a half that i drove it till i was t-boned in the driverside. id like 250 for it cause i dont see them anywhere in this good of shape and im not in a big hurry to get rid of it. i would take a reasonable offer.

i understand. hoods in that kind of condition are difficult to come by. my car is actually red, so that makes things easier for now, until i repaint her in the spring.

would you consider $150???? i would be picking it up.

im currently between jobs and living from in quarter tank of gas to the next...but im sure i could scrounge up $100 and gas money to come get it. yea, my '84 sat hoodless in the garage with a fleece blanket over it (my mom put the fleece on, i was just gonna put tarp on it lol) for a good few months until i found my 2" cowl hood for her.

this weekend im busy...perhaps next weekend?

I could try and get the black power bulge hood off of my Aunts 84 Trans Am since its just sitting there.

Oh I see you'd rather be local....well if you want me to I could look into it.
Its emaculant!

I have the "guts" to make to make the power bulge a functional cowl (82-84 Trans Am Part). It consists of new air assembly lid, and mechanism for up in the hood. Bolts right onto formula hoods with no drilling required. Just feed power to the actuator, add a switch, and you're good to go.

Pics available. PM if interested
