I have one off a 88 Camaro and its rust free. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I believe 88 Camaros decklid is a 1 year deal. The 88 Camaro rear spoiler was a 1 year only part, I know that for sure. The 88 spoiler is mounted with 4 holes, 2 on each edge L/H and R/H and 2 hole equally space in the center.

 

The IROC Rear Deck Lid is the same for 87' to 89' and some of 90'. Now on the other hand there was a 88' Sport Coupe that had a one year only Rear Spoiler.
