I am looking to see if anyone has any gray valve stem caps that came on most late 3rd Gens from the factory. Haven't had a chance to check out the yards so lets see if anyone else has...

I had no idea the originals were gray. I've worked at a couple tire shops and remember seeing them a lot, but haven't noticed any recently. I'll keep an eye out

 

Well, I checked with my supplier... good news. He can get the gray valve caps, he just doesn't stock them because nobody ever wants them. I told him to order a box of them because they are only $4 for 100 of them. It will be a couple weeks before they are in though.

Yeah, anyone that want's some of them, just let me know. I'm getting them through FCI, btw.

 

Clean forgot about these. I was disappointed when they came in, I'm not sure they will be of much use. Rather than being a light gray color with fine ribs, they are more of a silver with large ribs.

Here you go. It's not quite on a GTA wheel and it's not a rubber valve stem, but you get the idea.

 

Well I've found one but it has a dent in it. was just looking through the used caps at work so thats all I have.

 

Those pics are of capf that came on GNXs and such. There is a guy on ebay selling them. Too bad they are not the ones that came on our cars...

 

Interesting. I didn't think I would have a use for these when I got them, but when I put one on the wheel with the bolt-in stem (pictured), I changed my mind.

 

Anyone have any or can find any? I've been looking around and the ones I found are too short, still need some before the TA Nationals in Aug!

i just had set off my 88 TA with GTA rims on it but i took them off and replaced them with metal ones, i may have thrown them away but i will dig in my barn and see what i have
